The leaders of the extended producer’s responsibility organizations spoke about the problems of the black market in waste management in Georgia, and ways to solve them. Akhvlediani noted that collaboration between extended producer’s responsibility organizations and the state is necessary to solve the problems.

The directors discussed the important contribution of raising public awareness to change waste management behavior and discussed their future plans for specific waste collection.
