Director of "Tegeta Green Planet" Shalva Akhvlediani delivered a lecture for youth at the "Environmental Information and Education Center". On July 4 at the organization under the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, Akhvlediani introduced the youth to the purpose of existence of Extended Producer’s Responsibility Organizations and their importance for the country.

The director of “Tegeta Green Planet” spoke to the youth about the existing environmental trends and awareness in Georgia. Akhvlediani noted the importance of Extended Producer’s Responsibility Organizations in raising public awareness. The participants spoke about specific waste materials collected by Tegeta Green Planet and ways to recycle them.

Shalva Akhvlediani discussed with the youth the contribution of Extended Producer’s Responsibility Organizations to the development of environmental and conservation behavior and infrastructure in the country. The participants talked about the principles of circular economy and different ways of its implementation and development in Georgia, in which Extended Producer’s Responsibility Organizations are very important.
