On November 25, the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences of "Georgian University named after David Agmashenebeli" and the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Sustainable Development organized an interdisciplinary international scientific conference "Modern Challenges of Sustainable Development".

Strategic priorities and goals of "Tegeta Green Planet" company were presented to the conference participants by the director of the organization Shalva Akhvlediani. Shalva Akhvlediani spoke about the principles of work of Extended Producer Responsibility organizations and the importance of Extended Producer Responsibility organizations and businesses in achieving sustainable development goals. The participants talked about the prioritization of green topics and environmental approaches for the country's development.

The aim of the conference was to discuss various innovations, trends, challenges, and ways in which they can be addressed towards sustainable development by academic professionals, scientists, researchers, doctoral students, and business sector representatives.
