Tegeta Green Planet is one of the first organizations in Georgia to receive authorization from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture within the framework of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). The organization ensures the collection, transportation, and recycling of specific waste streams - used tires, oils, and batteries - in accordance with the principles of the circular economy.

The initiative “Tegeta Green Planet” aims to raise environmental awareness and encourage sustainable behavior within society. The organization’s team actively collaborates with educational institutions by visiting schools and conducting educational presentations, interactive activities, and engaging games for students, introducing them to the importance of environmental protection through practical examples.

To mark Earth Day, Tegeta Green Planet visited the Georgian-American School in Tbilisi, where a presentation on “Management of Specific Waste” was held for students of grades V–IX. The meeting was conducted in an interactive format and included various activities that helped students better understand environmental responsibility and the importance of proper waste management.

Students actively participated in discussions, answered questions, and took part in practical tasks. They gained knowledge they can apply in their daily lives - how to treat the environment responsibly and how waste can be transformed into a valuable resource.

At the end of the activity, certificates and symbolic gifts were awarded to the children for their involvement and active participation, further increasing their motivation and positive emotions.

The main goal of the initiative is to raise ecological awareness among younger generations and develop skills that will help them become more responsible citizens in the future. The activity is part of a large-scale educational campaign through which Tegeta Green Planet will gradually visit schools across different regions of Georgia.
