Tegeta Green Planet is one of the first organizations in Georgia to receive authorization from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture within the framework of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). The organization ensures the collection, transportation, and recycling of used tires, oils, and batteries in accordance with the principles of the circular economy.
This time, representatives of the organization visited students of grades VII–XI at Public School No. 70. During the meeting, students actively engaged in discussions, participated in practical activities and entertaining tasks. They gained knowledge that will help them take more responsible care of the environment in their daily lives and perceive waste as a valuable resource.
At the end of the activity, students received certificates and symbolic gifts for their engagement and active participation, which further strengthened their motivation and positive emotions.
The organization’s main goal is to raise environmental awareness among the younger generation and develop skills that will help them become more responsible citizens in the future. The visit was part of a large-scale educational campaign, within the framework of which Tegeta Green Planet will gradually visit schools in different regions of Georgia.
The Tegeta Green Planet initiative aims to raise environmental awareness and encourage sustainable behavior. The organization’s team actively cooperates with educational institutions and conducts informative presentations, interactive activities, and educational games for students, introducing them to the importance of environmental protection through practical examples.
