On September 11, 2024, the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the Union of Nature Researchers of Georgia “Orkis” organized a workshop on sustainable financing. Representatives of Tegeta Green Planet were also present at the event.
The workshop on sustainable financing was held in close cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia. The workshop is part of the Swedish government funded sub-project - “Support by the Government of Georgia to strengthen governance and policy in the transition to a circular economy”, under the “Governance Reform Foundation (GRF)” project of the United Nations Development Program.
The workshop discussed the principles of sustainable development, strategies for environmental, social and governance (ESG) investments and ESG filters, the sustainable finance framework from the European Union and typical requirements from financial institutions.
The workshop was led by Dr. Dariusz Prasek, an international expert on circular economy, environmental protection, social and governance issues, and sustainable finance.
