Shalva Akhvlediani, director of Tegeta Green Planet:
“Caring for the environment and society is a priority of “Tegeta”’s corporate social responsibility strategy. The activities of social and green entrepreneurs focus on a green future and bringing sustainable change to society. We are proud that “Tegeta” has recently received a corporate sustainability award specifically for promoting social enterprises and environmental projects.
We, as a subsidiary of “Tegeta”, strive to strengthen more positive social and environmental impact in the country by empowering our like-minded people and allies. I believe that the involvement of the business sector in such events is very important, which is why we are both exhibition organizers and participants in B2B meetings. This exhibition is one of the best opportunities for environmental organizations to get to know each other and find business solutions based on common interests in caring for the planet and society together.”
Tegeta Green Planet, as a highly socially responsible company, strives to create a more positive social and environmental impact in the country by supporting like-minded people with similar values. The goal of the B2B Social Enterprise Exhibition partnership was to strengthen social enterprises and promote projects focused on a green future.
The B2B social enterprise exhibition was supported by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) and the European Union. Guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the diverse products and services of up to 50 leading social and green enterprises in Georgia in one space.
