On November 19-20, 2024, a working meeting was held within the framework of the project “Promotion of Waste Management and Circular Economy Development in Georgia”. Representatives of Tegeta Green Planet were also present at the event.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss investment opportunities in the field of recycling of end-of-life tires, as well as issues of gender and social inclusion in the circular economy.

The project is implemented jointly with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, international consulting company COWI and the Regional Environmental Center Caucasus (REC Caucasus) and aims to promote recycling practices and encourage circular economy in Georgia, which will reduce the harmful impact on the environment and human health.
